用于有消防要求的建筑物，如地铁、隧道、体育馆、高层建筑、地下商场、车间、烘箱等场合的消防排烟和通风换气，一般采用双速电机，平时低速运行作通风换气用，如一发生火灾，会通过电控系统自动切换成高速运行，在半个小时内迅速排除烟气，使火场内人员安全撤离，保护国家和人民的生命财产安全，输送空气和其它不自燃，对钢材无腐蚀性气体，气体内不允许有粘性物质，所有的尘土及硬质颗粒物不大于150mg/m³，作通风换气时进气温度不得超过80℃，作消防用时，烟气温度在280℃时能连续运行30分钟以上。
